The Arts Uprise will fill the night with music, spoken word, and theatre aimed at igniting change. The modern resistance movement takes on many shapes: thousands of marchers in the street, a protester in a frog suit, political candidates offering new visions for our country. Since January, 2024, the Springs arts community has offered its own visions of resistance, with sold-out performances that speak to the foibles, and insanity of our times. These shows make us laugh, think, and, maybe most importantly, remind us that we're not alone. It could be the best antidote to doomscrolling.
