Texas-born and Nashville-based, Sunny Sweeney blends barroom grit with sharp songwriting and hard-earned perspective. Her voice carries equal parts wit, soul, and truth—just as at home in honky-tonks as in quiet listening rooms.
Seven albums deep, she’s earned praise from Rolling Stone, NPR, and American Songwriter while building a career on her own terms. Her most recent record, Married Alone, was co-produced by Paul Cauthen and Beau Bedford. A new studio album, produced with Harley Husbands, is set for 2025.
As Rolling Stone notes, “Sweeney is one of the rare entertainers who can hold her own at CMA Fest as well as AmericanaFest.”
Opening set by Cam Pierce, a Nashville-based songwriter whose “Alternative Western” style reflects his Oregon roots, drawing on country, folk, and Americana with a cinematic edge.
