Upon A Field’s Whisper originally started in 2018 as a solo concept EP by Bryan Ostrow as a commentary on man’s relationship with nature. In 2019, Ostrow wanted to play a live show and recruited longtime friends David Dempsey and Josh Austin to play the EP live. The band continued and added guitarist Laddie Savage to the mix, The band recorded another self titled EP in 2019. In 2020 during covid, Laddie and Josh parted ways, Bryan and David got longtime friends and former bandmates in other projects, Steven Perrett on guitar and Bryan Webb on Bass, It was the perfect match and chemistry. The band wrote and released a full length entitled “Sorry for Your Loss” in 2022. That album was about the earth getting back at humans for their destruction through viruses, natural disasters, etc. The album ends with the track “We’re still Here.” It is about those of us that are still here, that have survived loss need to do our best to contribute positively towards the world instead of just taking.

In 2025 the band is releasing their follow up album “Rejuvination.” It starts where “Sorry for Your Loss” left off, Man surviving and needing to learn from the past to move positively in the future. As you can tell from the state of the world, that hasn't gone so well. Rejuvenation is about growth, and change. Cutting off the rotting branches to avoid the spread and to save the tree metaphorically.

“Rejuvenation” was recorded in January in Colorado Springs by Nick Pryor at Lower Realm Recording. It was Mastered by Greg WIlkinson (Brainoil/Deathgrave)in Oakland and Earhammer Studios and the artwork was done by Alex CF(Fall of Efrafa/Lightbearer/Morrow)
