Walter Salas-Humara (of The Silos)
Saturday, June 15
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | All Ages
Walter Salas-Humara co-founded The Silos in New York’s post-punk scene. Named Best New Artist in the 1987 Rolling Stone Critics Poll, the band helped shape what would later be called alt-country. Salas-Humara’s solo work continues to focus on narrative songwriting—detailed, clear, and grounded.
“The space-time of Salas-Humara is not a Technicolor world, or a green screen world of hyped fakery; it’s a workaday world … in which home and heart are the iconography of inspiration.”
Doors at 12:30. Show runs from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Plus Walter Salas Humara Art for sale.
